Description of Rama and Lakshmana; Alliance Narrative to Sita
ततस्स सान्त्वयामास सुग्रीवं लक्ष्मणाग्रजः।स्त्रीहेतोर्वालिना भ्रात्रा निरस्तमुरुतेजसा।।।।
tatassa sāntvayāmāsa sugrīvaṃ lakṣmaṇāgrajaḥ | strīhetor vālinā bhrātrā nirastam urutejasā ||
ततः लक्ष्मणाग्रजः श्रीरामः सुग्रीवं सान्त्वयामास। स्त्रीहेतोः भ्रात्रा वालिना महातेजसा निरस्तं तम्॥
"Then Rama, consoled Sugriva who was dethroned and abandoned on acount of a woman by his brother Vali, endowed with great prowess.
