Commencement of the Ocean-Crossing
पीड्यमानस्तु बलिना महेन्द्रस्तेन पर्वतः।रीतीर्निर्वर्तयामास काञ्चनाञ्जनराजतीः।।।।
pīḍyamānas tu balinā mahendraḥ tena parvataḥ | rītīr nirvartayāmāsa kāñcanāñjanarājatīḥ ||
बलिना तेन हनूमता पीड्यमानः स महेन्द्रपर्वतः काञ्चनाञ्जनराजतीर्वर्णरुचिराः रीतीर्निर्वर्तयामास।
Pressed by the powerful Hanuman, mount Mahendra let out streams of the hue of gold and silver (containing the ores of these minerals)৷৷
