Uncertain from single-verse context (addressing Vishnu as ‘Madhusūdana’)

Concept: Devotion is not only austerity but also auspicious joy—offering music and celebration to Madhusūdana while seeking fullness in household life.

Application: Bring devotional art into daily life—sing, play instruments, or listen to kīrtana at home; let celebration be an offering rather than mere indulgence.

Primary Rasa: shringara

Secondary Rasa: hasya

FAQs

It emphasizes devotional worship through sound—arranging singing (gīta) and instrumental music (vāditra) as an offering to the divine.

“Madhusūdana” is an epithet of Vishnu, meaning “slayer of the demon Madhu,” commonly used in Vaishnava devotional contexts.

It conveys attentive hospitality in devotion: do not leave the Lord’s service incomplete—fill the space with sincere offerings such as praise, music, and reverent arrangement.
