Dharma

Application: Treat every sincere ascetic/guest with reverence; cultivate ‘seeing beyond appearances’ and respond to virtue and radiance rather than status.

Primary Rasa: adbhuta

Secondary Rasa: shanta

Type: forest

Visual Art Cues: {"scene_description":"In a quiet grove, Dharma—personified as a dignified, luminous figure—gestures toward a brāhmaṇa-form radiant with tejas, as if a hidden sun is veiled by simple robes. FAQs

The explicit marker “dharma uvāca” indicates that Dharma is the speaker; the verse also shows a dialogue setting where someone requests a detailed narration.

It implies that the described being/person is appearing “in the form of a brāhmaṇa,” which can indicate a literal brāhmaṇa or a divine/extraordinary figure adopting that guise.

It highlights tejas (radiance, potency, spiritual brilliance) as a sign of inner excellence—suggesting that true authority or sanctity is recognized through virtue and spiritual power, not merely outward identity.
