Suta (narrating the Tirtha-Mahatmya dialogue of Narada Purana)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: adbhuta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It directs the devotee toward a Vishnu-associated tīrtha (Vāmanaka), teaching that pilgrimage becomes spiritually potent when it is connected to the Lord’s avatāra-līlā and the restoration of dharma.
By remembering Vāmana’s appearance and purpose, the pilgrim’s journey becomes an act of Vishnu-smaraṇa (remembrance), a core practice of bhakti emphasized through tīrtha-mahātmyas in the Uttara-bhāga.
It implicitly highlights kalpa (ritual procedure) through the reference to yajña, showing how Purāṇic tīrtha-guides integrate ritual context with sacred geography for dharmic practice.
