Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It presents Vaitaraṇī as a purifying tirtha where sin is washed away, and it links that purification to focused devotion through worship of Śiva after the ritual bath.
Bhakti is expressed as post-bath arcana (formal worship) directed to Śiva—named through epithets (Śūlapāṇi, Vṛṣadhvaja)—showing that pilgrimage attains its fruit when completed with reverent worship.
Ritual procedure (kalpa-style practice) is implied: snāna at a specified tirtha followed by arcana to the deity, reflecting correct sequencing of acts in pilgrimage observances.
