FAQs

It teaches that simple offerings—especially fragrant flowers—given to the sacred Gaṅgā with devotion become a meaningful act of tīrtha-sevā and purification, emphasizing sincerity over extravagance.

Bhakti is shown as practical and accessible: one offers what one can (yathāśakti) with wholehearted devotion (mahābhakti), turning a physical act of offering into a devotional surrender.

Ritual application (kalpa-style practice) is implied: the proper mode of offering (nīkṣepa/placing into the river), the use of auspicious, fragrant substances, and the guiding principle of proportional giving (yathāśakti) in observances.
