Rasa: {"primary_rasa":"bhakti","secondary_rasa":"shanta","emotional_journey":"Begins with an exalted claim about Gaṅgā’s bathing merit, then shifts into a measured, instructional tone introducing place-specific results."}
It elevates Gaṅgā-snāna as exceptionally meritorious—comparable to the पुण्य (puṇya) associated with hundreds of solar eclipses—and introduces a systematic, place-by-place account of tirtha bathing results.
While framed in tirtha-mahātmya and ritual merit, it supports bhakti culture by directing devotees toward sacred spaces (like the Gaṅgā) where remembrance, worship, and purificatory acts naturally intensify devotion.
Jyotiṣa (Vedic astrology/astronomy) is implied through the reference to sūrya-graha (solar eclipse), using eclipse-related merit as a recognized benchmark for comparing the फल (phala) of tirtha-snāna.
