Suta (narrator)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: adbhuta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
The verse highlights sāttvika-bhāvas—holy, involuntary signs like horripilation—arising when one beholds a revered, spiritually potent figure; it also emphasizes that praise (stuti) naturally culminates in inspired, dignified speech.
It reflects bhakti’s inner transformation: the devotee’s heart becomes overwhelmed on darśana, and stuti becomes both received and offered—devotion expressed through reverent emotion and praise.
Indirectly, it points to the discipline of chandas/alankāra-like sacred diction in stuti—cultivating measured, resonant speech suitable for praise—rather than a technical Vedanga procedure.
