सम्पूज्य विप्रमिथुनं “भवानी प्रीयताम्” इति वदन्, गौरीलोके कल्पपर्यन्तं वसेत्; एतत् सौभाग्यव्रतम् उच्यते।
This verse does not address Pralaya; it focuses on vrata-dharma—ritual worship aimed at pleasing Goddess Bhavānī (Gaurī) and gaining saubhāgya (marital auspiciousness).
It supports householder ethics by prescribing respectful worship of a Brahmin couple and disciplined observance of a vow, presenting dharmic charity and devotion as means to secure household well-being and conjugal prosperity.
The ritual significance is the Saubhāgya-vrata procedure: honoring a vipra couple and invoking Bhavānī’s pleasure; it is a vrata-vidhi instruction rather than a Vāstu or temple-architecture rule.
