Adhyaya 72 — The Reconciliation Rite, Sarasvati Sacrifice, and the Birth of Uttama Manu (Auttama Manvantara Prelude)
tatra tasya tayā sārdhaṃ ramataḥ pṛthivīpateḥ | jagāma kālaḥ sumahān prajāḥ pālayatas tathā ||
Householder/royal enjoyment is not condemned when paired with responsibility; the king’s legitimacy is tied to prajā-pālana (protecting subjects).
Vaṃśānucarita: a standard Purāṇic bridge verse marking elapsed time before a dynastic birth/event.
Time (kāla) is the unseen agent that ripens boons into events; righteous action sustains order while destiny matures.
