The verse frames certain intrusions/portents as warnings requiring prudence: one should not cling to property when it becomes a locus of harm; instead, one should prioritize protection of life and dharmic remediation through śānti rites.
This material is ancillary dharma-nīti (ācāra/śānti/śakuna) rather than a core pañcalakṣaṇa topic (sarga/pratisarga/vaṃśa/manvantara/vaṃśānucarita).
A ‘house’ can symbolize the embodied condition; an ominous ‘entry’ can be read as the onset of destructive tendencies. The instruction to ‘leave’ and ‘pacify’ suggests detachment plus inner purification to avert decline.
