तथैव यक्ष ! पुष्ट्यर्थमसच्छास्त्रक्रियाश्च याः ।

यच्चार्थनिर्वृतं किञ्चिदधीताṃ यन्न सत्यतः ॥

tathaiva yakṣa puṣṭy-artham asac-chāstra-kriyāś ca yāḥ |

yac cārtha-nirvṛtaṃ kiñcid adhītaṃ yan na satyataḥ ||

तथैव हे यक्ष, कुदृष्ट्याधारितानि कर्माणि तव पोषणार्थं कृतानि; यच्चाध्ययनं केवलं धनतोषार्थं न तत्त्वार्थं प्रवर्तते—तदपि तवैव।
