चत्वारि तु सहस्राणि वर्षाणां कृतमुच्यते ।
शतानि सन्ध्या चत्वारि सन्ध्यांशश्च तथाविधः ॥
catvāri tu sahasrāṇi varṣāṇāṃ kṛtam ucyate | śatāni sandhyā catvāri sandhyāṃśaś ca tathāvidhaḥ ||
कृतं (सत्यं) युगं चतुर्सहस्रं दिव्यवर्षाणाम् उच्यते। तस्य सन्ध्या चतुश्शतवर्षा, सन्ध्यांशश्च तावन्मात्रः स्मृतः॥
