Birth-status does not finally determine spiritual capacity; cultivated saṃskāra and the blessings of elders can sustain clarity even in adverse conditions. The verse also affirms reverence to parents/teachers as a dharmic support for jñāna.

‘Tiryaktva’ symbolizes a mind pulled by instinct; the claim that moha is dispelled indicates mastery over instinctual drives through prior purification and grace.
