अनर्थोऽप्यर्थतां याति पुरुषस्य शुभोदयॆ ।
यथेदमुपकाराय व्यसनं सङ्गमात्तव ॥
anartho ’py arthatāṃ yāti puruṣasya śubhodaye /
yathedam upakārāya vyasanaṃ saṅgamāt tava
यदा शुभो बोधः प्रादुर्भवति तदा विपत्तिरपि पुरुषस्य अर्थवती लाभरूपा भवति; यथा एषा दुर्दशा तव सङ्गमात् ममोपकारिणी जाता।

The value of events is shaped by one’s inner orientation. When one turns toward dharma and wisdom, even pain can serve as instruction and purification.
