सततं धावमानश्ष्‌ चिन्तयानो विशाम्पते । (भ्रमंस्तत्र महीपाल यदा वर्षगणान्‌ बहून्‌ ।) आसादयामि नैवान्तं तस्य राजन्‌ महात्मन:

Transliteration

satatam dhāvamānaś cintayāno viśāmpate | bhramaṁs tatra mahīpāla yadā varṣagaṇān bahūn | āsādayāmi naivāntaṁ tasya rājan mahātmanaḥ |

Translation

वैशम्पायन उवाच— सततं धावमानः चिन्तयानो विशाम्पते, तत्र बहून् वर्षगणान् भ्रमन्, महीपाल, तस्य राजन् महात्मनः अन्तं नैवासादयम्। अथ राजन्, मनसा वाचा कर्मणा च, वरदं वरेण्यं देवं विधिवत् शरणं प्रपद्ये।
