Arjuna’s evacuation of Dvārakā, Vasudeva’s rites, and the caravan’s crisis

Educational Q&A

Even divinely empowered communities can be withdrawn when their continued power threatens the balance of dharma; the Lord’s non-intervention can serve the protection of the moral-cosmic order rather than personal attachment.

Vyāsa consoles the son of Kuntī by explaining that the Yādavas were divine portions who arrived with Kṛṣṇa and departed with him; because their presence could disrupt dharma’s boundaries, Kṛṣṇa did not prevent their destruction, allowing the destined end to occur.
