उत्पातदर्शनम् — Portents and Kāla among the Vṛṣṇis
स भोजै: सह संयुक्त: सात्यकिश्नान्धकै:ः सह । व्यायच्छमानौ तौ वीरौ बाहुद्रविणशालिनौ,प्रद्यम्न भोजोंसे भिड़ गये और सात्यकि अन्धकोंके साथ जूझने लगे। अपनी भुजाओंके बलसे सुशोभित होनेवाले वे दोनों वीर बड़े परिश्रमके साथ विरोधियोंका सामना करते रहे
sa bhojaiḥ saha saṃyuktaḥ sātyakiś cāndhakaiḥ saha | vyāyacchamānau tau vīrau bāhu-draviṇa-śālinau ||
स भोजैः सह संयुक्तः सात्यकिश्चान्धकैः सह । व्यायच्छमानौ तौ वीरौ बाहुद्रविणशालिनौ ॥
वैशम्पायन उवाच
Even the mightiest heroes, endowed with strength and reputation, can be swept into ruin when anger and division overtake a community. The verse highlights the moral sorrow of civil strife: valor persists, but dharma is eclipsed when one’s own kin become enemies.
During the Yādavas’ catastrophic internal conflict, Pradyumna clashes with the Bhojas, while Sātyaki fights together with the Andhakas. The two warriors exert themselves fiercely, holding their ground against opposing fighters amid the escalating melee.
