Even amid destructive conflict, the text foregrounds the need for auspiciousness and alignment with cosmic order—invoking the Sun, the stabilizing supports of the directions, Earth, and astral powers as symbols of steadiness, clarity, and welfare.
Sañjaya offers a formal blessing, calling upon Vivasvān and other cosmic supports to grant well-being. Such benedictory lines often frame or punctuate tense war reports, providing a ritualized moment of protection and moral grounding.
