षट् सहस्रान् हयान् वीरान् पुनर्दशशतान् वरान्
ṣaṭ-sahasrān hayān vīrān punar daśa-śatān varān
सञ्जय उवाच—षट्सहस्राणि हयान् वीरान्, पुनर्दशशतानि वरान्; सर्वे ते वराश्वा युद्धयोग्याः समाहृताः।
