द्रोणपर्व — अध्याय २७: सुशर्माह्वानम्, अर्जुनस्य प्रतिनिवर्तनम्, भगदत्तेन गजप्रहारः
तस्य बुद्धया विचार्यवमर्जुनस्य कुरूद्वह । अभवद् भूयसी बुद्धि: संशप्तकवधे स्थिरा,कुरुश्रेष्ठ! बुद्धिसे इस प्रकार विचार करनेपर अर्जुनके मनमें यह भाव अत्यन्त दृढ़ हुआ कि संशप्तकोंके वधका ही प्रयत्न करना चाहिये
tasya buddhyā vicāryaivam arjunasya kurūdvaha | abhavad bhūyasī buddhiḥ saṁśaptaka-vadhe sthirā ||
