त॑ निवार्य शरैस्तूर्ण धृष्टद्युम्नो महारथ:
tān nivārya śarais tūrṇaṃ dhṛṣṭadyumno mahārathaḥ
सञ्जय उवाच—तान् शरान् त्वरितं शरवृष्ट्या निवार्य धृष्टद्युम्नो महारथः प्रहारवेगं न्यवारयत्; संयमयुक्तं प्रत्युपायं कृत्वा स्वपक्षरक्षणे सेनापतेर्धर्मं दर्शयामास।
