Educational Q&A

The verse highlights disciplined, duty-oriented action: Kṛṣṇa as the guiding charioteer and Arjuna as the warrior advance together with clarity and resolve, suggesting that righteous effort in crisis requires both leadership and focused execution.

Sañjaya reports that Kṛṣṇa (Śauri), described as foremost among weapon-bearers and radiant with power, mounts an excellent chariot along with Arjuna and drives forward rapidly, signaling an urgent movement toward the next engagement in the Drona Parva battle sequence.
