Educational Q&A

Recollection and praise of the Divine—especially the celebrated deeds acknowledged by the wise—cultivates inner steadiness; devotion is presented as a means to stabilize one’s mind and intention.

The narrator Vaiśaṃpāyana signals a transition into recounting revered divine exploits (understood here as Śrī Kṛṣṇa’s līlās), stating his purpose: to narrate them devotionally for his own inner firmness.
