देवैर्विष्णोः शरणागमनम्—शिवलिङ्गस्थापनं, शिवसहस्रनामस्तवः, सुदर्शनचक्रप्रदानं च

सर्वदेवमयो ऽचिन्त्यो देवतात्मात्मसंभवः ईड्यो ऽनीशः सुरव्याघ्रो देवसिंहो दिवाकरः

Transliteration

sarvadevamayo 'cintyo devatātmātmasaṃbhavaḥ īḍyo 'nīśaḥ suravyāghro devasiṃho divākaraḥ

Translation

सर्वदेवमयोऽचिन्त्यो देवतात्मात्मसंभवः। ईड्योऽनीशः सुरव्याघ्रो देवसिंहो दिवाकरः॥

• सर्वदेवमयः: one who is constituted of all gods (all divine powers gathered in Him)

• अचिन्त्यः: inconceivable, beyond thought

• देवतात्मा: the inner Self of the deities

• आत्मसंभवः: self-born, arising from Himself

• ईड्यः: worthy of adoration/praise

• अनीशः: having no overlord, independent (an-īśa in the sense of 'none above Him')

• सुरव्याघ्रः: tiger among the gods, best of the celestials

• देवसिंहः: lion among the gods, supreme hero

• दिवाकरः: sun-like, maker of day, radiant illuminator
