FAQs

It teaches that a kṣetra becomes supremely effective for Shiva-oriented sādhana when it is sanctified by the Lord’s presence and approached with bhakti—making it a powerful support for Linga-centered worship and inner realization.

Shiva-tattva is implied as all-pervading and consecrating: when devotees are “mama bhāvitaḥ” (imbued with the Lord), the place itself becomes a conduit of Pati’s grace that helps the pashu (individual soul) move toward freedom from pāśa (bondage).

The verse highlights yogic residence and practice in a sanctified Shaiva space (a guhā as a siddhi-sthāna), emphasizing bhakti-informed yoga—aligned with Pāśupata ideals of living and meditating where Shiva’s presence is especially potent.
