bhuktimuktipradā divyā bhaktānāmaprayatnataḥ sā me sākṣānmahādevī pāpam āśu vyapohatu
Suta Goswami (narrating a devotional assertion within the Purva-Bhaga context)
It frames Linga-centered Shaiva devotion as inseparable from Śakti’s grace: through the Mahādevī’s anugraha, the devotee gains both bhukti (support in dharmic life) and mukti (release from bondage), along with rapid purification from pāpa.
By praising Mahādevī as ‘sākṣāt’ and divinely efficacious, it implies the Shaiva Siddhānta vision where Pati (Śiva) acts through Śakti—grace (anugraha/śaktipāta) is the decisive power that loosens pāśa (bondage) for the paśu (soul).
The key practice is bhakti grounded in śaraṇāgati (seeking refuge): sincere invocation of Mahādevī for pāpa-kṣaya (removal of impurity), which supports Pashupata-oriented purification leading toward mukti.
