sarvāya ca namastubhyaṃ namo nārāyaṇāya ca namo hiraṇyagarbhāya ādidevāya te namaḥ
Suta (narrating a received hymn of praise within the Purva-Bhaga context)
It frames worship as direct surrender (namas) to the Supreme Pati who pervades all, while acknowledging that the same Lord is reflected as Nārāyaṇa and Hiraṇyagarbha—supporting Linga worship as devotion to the transcendent source behind all cosmic functions.
Shiva-tattva is indicated as the Ādi-Deva and the Sarva (All)—the ground of being that can be praised through the creator principle (Hiraṇyagarbha) and the indwelling sustainer (Nārāyaṇa), yet remains the one supreme reality beyond limited roles.
Namaskāra and stuti (verbal worship) are highlighted as core upacāras; in Pāśupata orientation, such praise supports turning the pashu (bound soul) away from pāśa (bondage) toward the Pati through remembrance and reverence.
