Sukta 1
उद्यंस्त्वं देव सूर्य सपत्नानव मे जहि । अवैनानश्मना जहि ते यन्त्वधमं तमः
údyans tváṃ déva súrya sa-patná̄n áva me jahi | ávai ná̄n áśmanā jahi té yantu adhámaṃ támaḥ ||
Rising, O god Sun, smite down my rivals; smite them away—smite them with a stone. Let those men depart into the nethermost darkness.
उद्यंस्त्वं देव सूर्य मम सपत्नान् जहि; अवैनान् अश्मना जहि। ते जनाः अधमं तमः यान्तु।
