FAQs

It introduces Vāstu-śāstra guidance for choosing an appropriate building-site, especially the traditional classification of suitable ground/soil by colour for different varṇas.

It shifts from gemology (ratna-parīkṣā) to architecture and land-science (vāstu-lakṣaṇa), illustrating how the Agni Purana compiles practical technical disciplines alongside religious instruction.

Selecting a site aligned with prescribed vāstu marks is presented as supporting auspiciousness and order (dharma) in domestic and ritual life, reducing inauspicious outcomes associated with improper dwelling placement.
