The Eulogy and Procedure of the ‘Honey-Cow’ Gift

Madhudhenudāna

तादृशाय प्रदातव्या मधु धेनुर्नरोत्तमे॥ पुच्छदेशे विमृश्याथ जलपूर्णां सदक्षिणाम्॥

tādṛśāya pradātavyā madhu dhenur narottame || puccha-deśe vimṛśyātha jala-pūrṇāṃ sa-dakṣiṇām ||

Такую «медовую корову» следует даровать такому получателю, о лучший из людей. Затем, коснувшись области хвоста, (совершают обряд) с полным подношением воды и с надлежащей дакшиной.
