yacca tīrthe pitṛśrāddhaṃ snānaṃ tatra samācaret | hitakārī ca bhūtebhyaḥ so'śnīyāttīrthajaṃ phalam
И кто в тиртхе (tīrtha) совершает шраддху (śrāddha) предкам и там же совершает омовение по предписанию, и творит благо живым существам,—тот воистину вкушает плод, рождаемый священным местом.
Skanda (deduced: Prabhāsa Khaṇḍa Māhātmya narration)
Tirtha: Prabhāsa tīrthas (general tīrtha rule)
Type: ghat
Listener: Mahādevī (Pārvatī)
Scene: On a tīrtha bank, a householder-pilgrim performs śrāddha with piṇḍa and water-libations, then bathes; nearby he feeds the poor and offers fodder to animals—showing bhūta-hita as part of pilgrimage.
Pilgrimage merit is completed by ancestor rites, sacred bathing, and compassionate conduct toward all beings.
Prabhāsa Kṣetra in general, as a tīrtha where snāna and pitṛ-śrāddha yield ‘tīrthaja’ fruit.
Perform pitṛ-śrāddha and snāna at the tīrtha, coupled with benevolence toward living beings.
