एष गच्छामि पदवीं सत्ये तव पथे सदा । सौप्तिके निहता ये च सुप्तास्तेन दुरात्मना
eṣa gacchāmi padavīṃ satye tava pathe sadā | sauptike nihatā ye ca suptāstena durātmanā
«О правдивый, я всегда пойду твоим путём». И (я говорю) о тех, кто, спя, был убит в ночном набеге (Сауптика) тем злодеем.
