स्कांदं नाम पुराणं तदेकाशीति निगद्यते । सहस्राणि शतं चैकमिति मर्त्येषु पठ्यते
skāṃdaṃ nāma purāṇaṃ tadekāśīti nigadyate | sahasrāṇi śataṃ caikamiti martyeṣu paṭhyate
