Transliteration

saiva ṣaṣṭhī tithiḥ puṇyā tasmāttatra drutaṃ vraja | ahaṃ tava pitā putra śaṃtanuḥ pṛthivīpatiḥ

Translation

Именно этот шестой лунный день, ṣaṣṭhī, свят; потому ступай туда скорее. Я — твой отец, сын мой, Шантану (Śaṃtanu), владыка земли.
