nūnaṃ muktirbhavetteṣāṃ citā bhasmani goṣpadam | dṛśyate tatra tajjñātvā saṃskāryā brāhmaṇā mṛtāḥ
Воистину, им бывает освобождение: там, в пепле погребального костра, виден знак, подобный «следу коровьего копыта». Узнав этот признак, следует совершать там над умершими брахманами надлежащие погребальные обряды и самскары.
