Transliteration

so'pi rājā varaṃ labdhvā śāpaṃ ca tadanaṃtaram | na jagāma gṛhaṃ bhūyaścakāra sumahattapaḥ

Translation

И тот царь, получив дар и тотчас вслед за ним — проклятие, не вернулся домой; напротив, он вновь предался весьма великим подвигам аскезы (тапасу).
