Поклонившись тому лингаму, он затем отправляется в божественную обитель. Даже обременённый великими грехами достигает этого силою его, без сомнения.
Purāṇic narrator
Tirtha: Tīrtha-yugma with Śiva-liṅga
Type: kshetra
Scene: A pilgrim, freshly bathed, stands before a dark stone liṅga on a pedestal, offering water and bilva leaves; a subtle radiance rises upward, indicating ascent to a divine abode. In the background, twin waters glimmer, linking snāna to pūjā.
The tīrtha and its liṅga are portrayed as supremely redemptive: sincere worship can uplift even the gravely fallen.
The tīrthayugma and the associated “that liṅga” shrine described in Nāgarakhaṇḍa, Tīrthamāhātmya, Adhyāya 198.
Liṅga-pūjā (worship of the liṅga), following the tīrtha immersion context.
