अहं विडंबिता यस्मादत्रानीय त्वया विधे । पुरतो देवपत्नीनां देवानां च द्विजन्मनाम् । तस्मात्पूजां न ते कश्चित्सांप्रतं प्रकरिष्यति
ahaṃ viḍaṃbitā yasmādatrānīya tvayā vidhe | purato devapatnīnāṃ devānāṃ ca dvijanmanām | tasmātpūjāṃ na te kaścitsāṃprataṃ prakariṣyati
Я была осмеяна, ибо ты привёл меня сюда, о Видхи, — перед жёнами богов, перед самими богами и перед двиджами, дважды-рождёнными. Потому ныне никто не совершит пуджу в твою честь.
