Transliteration

rājovāca | saṃnyasto'haṃ dvijaśreṣṭhā na rājyaṃ kartumutsahe | na sutānāṃ na dārāṇāṃ saṃgrahaṃ ca kathaṃcana

Translation

Царь сказал: «О лучший из брахманов, я отрёкся от мира; не дерзаю править царством. И ни сыновей, ни супруги — никаких уз и обязанностей — я не желаю принимать».
