सूत उवाच । श्वेतद्वीपः समानीतो विष्णुना प्रभविष्णुना । तत्क्षेत्रे कलिभीतेन यथा शौक्ल्यं न संत्यजेत्
sūta uvāca | śvetadvīpaḥ samānīto viṣṇunā prabhaviṣṇunā | tatkṣetre kalibhītena yathā śauklyaṃ na saṃtyajet
Сута сказал: «Шветадвипа была принесена сюда Вишну, всесильным Владыкой, чтобы в той священной области — из страха перед Кали — она не оставила своей белизны (чистоты)».
