tvaṃ śaṃbhoḥ suta deśīyo gaṇānāṃ pravarosyaho | rājādeśamanuprāpya tatopyatibalo mahān
Viṣṇu
Tirtha: Kāśī
Type: kshetra
Listener: Pilgrim-audience within the Purāṇic frame
Scene: Viṣṇu addresses Vīrabhadra with measured respect, acknowledging him as Śambhu’s son and foremost gaṇa, emphasizing his immense strength under royal/divine command.
Authority and mission matter: strength becomes dharmic when aligned with the rightful command and cosmic order.
The Kāśīkhaṇḍa’s larger teaching exalts Kāśī, though this verse itself is a character-address within the episode.
None; it is an acknowledgment of Vīrabhadra’s status and mandate.
