Transliteration

sūryavaṃśe mahātejā rājā paramadhārmikaḥ | ārirādhayiṣurgaṃgāṃ tapase kṛtaniścayaḥ

Translation

В Солнечной династии был царь великого сияния, высочайше праведный; он твёрдо решил совершать тапас, желая умилостивить Гангу.
