Skanda Purana — Avanti Khanda, Shloka 32
द्विज उवाच । न विचारस्त्वया कार्यः कृता यज्ञा न संशयः । यदि वेदाः प्रमाणं तं भुवि देवा द्विजास्तथा
dvija uvāca | na vicārastvayā kāryaḥ kṛtā yajñā na saṃśayaḥ | yadi vedāḥ pramāṇaṃ taṃ bhuvi devā dvijāstathā
Брахман сказал: «Тебе не следует рассуждать об этом. Жертвоприношения (ягьи) совершены — без сомнения. Если Веды — мерило истины, то на земле и боги (девы), и брахманы являются свидетелями этой правды».
