Transliteration

mahiṣāsure mahākāye purā devabhayaṃkare | śūlinyā śūlabhinnāṅge kṛte dānavasattame

Translation

В древности, когда Махишасура, огромного тела и страшный для богов, был поражён Богиней, несущей трезубец, и его члены были рассечены трезубцем, тот лучший из демонов был повержен.
