śrīmārkaṇḍeya uvāca | tato gacchettu rājendra puṇyaṃ tīrthaṃ trilocanam | tatra tiṣṭhati deveśaḥ sarvalokanamaskṛtaḥ
Mārkaṇḍeya
Tirtha: Trilocana-tīrtha
Type: kshetra
Listener: Rājendra (a king; likely the inquirer within the Revā-khaṇḍa frame)
Scene: Sage Mārkaṇḍeya instructs a king to proceed to Trilocana-tīrtha; in the background a serene Śiva presence is felt, with pilgrims bowing.
Sacred geography is presented as living theology: the tīrtha is holy because the Lord himself is said to abide there.
Trilocana Tīrtha, introduced as a highly meritorious pilgrimage destination.
The instruction is to visit (gacchet) the tīrtha as part of a pilgrimage sequence.
