tatra tīrthe tu yaḥ snātvā bhojayedbrāhmaṇāñchuciḥ | ekasminbhojite vipre koṭirbhavati bhojitā
Śrī Mārkaṇḍeya (contextual continuation)
Tirtha: Koṭitīrtha
Type: ghat
Listener: A king (rājendra)
Scene: Pilgrim freshly bathed at the ford offers a meal to a learned brāhmaṇa; behind them, a subtle cosmic visualization shows countless brāhmaṇas being fed, indicating koṭi-phala.
Charity offered with purity at a sanctified place multiplies in merit; intention and sacred context elevate a simple act into great dharma.
Koṭitīrtha (within Revā Khaṇḍa), where merit is said to be magnified.
Snāna (ritual bathing) at the tīrtha followed by brāhmaṇa-bhojana (feeding brāhmaṇas) while maintaining śauca (purity).
