युद्धे अङ्गद-मैन्द-द्विविद-राक्षसयुद्धम्; कुम्भस्य प्रादुर्भावः तथा सुग्रीवेण पराभवः

स यूपाक्षोऽश्रुपूर्णाक्षःपितृव्येनिहतेरणे ।अवरुह्यरथात्क्षिप्रंक्षीणेषुखङ्गमाददे ।।।।
sa yūpākṣo ’śru-pūrṇākṣaḥ pitṛvye nihate raṇe | avaruhya rathāt kṣipraṃ kṣīṇeṣu khaṅgam ādade ||
Юпакша, с глазами, полными слёз при виде гибели своего дяди в бою, быстро сошёл с колесницы; и когда стрелы его иссякли, он обнажил меч.
Instantly alighting from the chariot, Yupaksha seeing the uncle exhausted and hurt, eyes filled with tears, he wielded the sword.
