Trisira’s Counsel and the Slaying of Naranthaka
अथोवाचमहातेजास्सुग्रीवोवानराधिपः ।कुमारमङ्गदंवीरंशक्रतुल्यपराक्रमम् ।।।।
athovāca mahātejāḥ sugrīvo vānarādhipaḥ |
kumāram aṅgadaṃ vīraṃ śakratulyaparākramam ||6.69.81||
Тогда лучезарный Сугрива, владыка ванаров, обратился к князю Ангаде — герою, чья доблесть была равна доблести Индры.
Sugriva, the Lord of Vanaras seeing (Naranthaka advancing) spoke to his son Angada who resembled Indra in valour.
Dharma in leadership includes appointing capable protectors at the right moment; responsibility is delegated to the worthy for the welfare of the many.
After seeing Narāntaka’s threat, Sugrīva turns to Aṅgada to give instructions for the battle response.
Aṅgada’s vīrya (valor) and Sugrīva’s prudent command—matching duty to capability.
